Obituary of Elizabeth A. Padden

Elizabeth A. Padden (nee Romano), age 84, died on October 7, 2011. Born in North Arlington, NJ, and raised in Kearny, she moved to Pitman in 1955. Betty was a homemaker, a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Pitman, and was the devoted wife of John J. for over 51 years until his death in 2000. She was also a strong, loving and generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by daughters; Susan E. Nikkels of Pitman, Jacqueline Westervelt of Egg Harbor City, Mary L. Padden of Glassboro, Theresa DeSimine of Clayton, Rosemary Padden of Santa Clara, CA, grandchildren; Anne Marie McManamy, John J. Padden, Jonathan Nikkels, Timothy DeSimine, Shane Padden, James Nikkels; great-grandchildren; Sean and Alyssa, and sister Ruth Ward. Predeceased by great-granddaughter Chloe Marie. Funeral mass and interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park will be private at the convenience of the family.
