Memories go way back to when Cousin Warren visited the Grinde Farm in Vienna, WI. My dad, Russel loved his visits and would talk about the summers Warren spent in Wisconsin.
When I started genealogy in the late '60's, Warren was an avid encourager and helper. I have a photo of your parents, Lura and Warren with Aunt Jo Grinde Lione, that I cherish, taken in our living room in Madison in 1972.
My oldest sister Lou Ann Grinde Ellingson I an hopeful will be at the graveside service Friday. Linda, if you are in Wisconsin on Thurs. or stay to Sat. I would be absolutely overjoyed to meet you. I will think of you and say prayers are for you today. I know how close you were to your dad, but I feel he is with your mom and other relatives who have gone on before and is at peace. Bless you.
Love, your cousin Sandra Grinde Noltemeyer Donner

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (KJV)
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
