Reverend andMrs King were so special to me during my childhood and early adulthood. I remember being a silly teenager and Reverend Kings patience with us as we practiced for youth chior. I remember Mrs. King sitting quietly and doing her knitting. She always seemed so peaceful and I could tell that they loved each other very much. I remember Rev King encouraging me as a youth and smiling at the alter when he performed my wedding. The last time I saw him, he was smiling and sitting on my back porch. He walkwd with my childrrn and I through Longwoid Gardens. When I heard of his passing I felt joy for him but pain for Randy and his family. We will meet again dear mentor and brother in Christ! A life well lived. Praise be to God.

Reverend King was the minister at Deerfield Methodist Church during the time I went there. He married my husband Eddie and I on June 4th, 1977. He was a wonderful person and I will always remember his kindness and caring for all of us during the time he ministered at our churchu.

Randee, Lee and families, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It is wonderful to know he is home now; he missed your Mother so much. My memories go back to thee teaching, the Post High Youth Group they so put up with us. IN the later years visit to Cardinal village, your Dad playing when the Prime Time singers went over to sing for the folks, his ministery back at PUMC and the Manor. I am so happy for him, it was so hard to visit him and I always remember you Dad being so active; the hugs He always gave and his Love of the Lord. I will be thinking and remembering him long after the Celebration of his life. Love you guys, Jane
