Obituary of Mary Barbara Sudwoj

Mary Barbara Sudwoj, age 74, died on June 20, 2022 at her home in Pitman where she lived since 1996. The child of Holocaust survivors, Mary was born in Manchester, England and came to the United States in 1958. She lived in Pittsburgh for many years before moving to Pitman. Mary studied at the University of Warsaw, Poland and traveled back to Poland many times. She worked for CamCare in Camden as an office intake manager for 23 years. She was predeceased by her parents Gabryela and Zbigniew "Bill" Sudwoj. Survived by her siblings George, Joan and Theresa Sudwoj, caregiver Dave Boswell, cousins Eva Poindexter, Julie, Geoff and Emily Anderson, and many dear friends and neighbors including Robert Davis, Edith Giberson, Margarita Rojas Etc.as well as Ida Staniszewska (Sudwoj) and many extended family members in Poland, Canada and Australia. Funeral mass will be 10:30am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish), 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro.
