Mrs Tomko: I met John many, many years ago probably in the early 60's. My Father was a Police Officer and later the Chief of Police for the Borough of Elmer for many years and John and many of the Troopers would visit from time to time . Dad was also Justice of the Peace and the Troopers would bring Motor Vehicle volations to Dad in order to pay their fines. Dad also had a bus business in Pennsgrove and John would often stop by to see Dad and say hello. I worked full time for the National Guard and often went to the Pitman Armory. I thought that John might live on the street just down from the Armory and often wondered if he did, but never followed through.. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet with John.
