Obituary of William Winfred Fagundus

William Winfred Fagundus, age 89 died on June 12, 2013. Bill lived in Pitman most of his life. He was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1942. Bill was a life-long member of the Pitman United Methodist Church. Bill worked for Socony Mobil in Research and Development for 42 years. He was an active member of the Mobil Union. Bill enjoyed all sports, especially tennis. He had a lifetime love of travel and reading. After retirement he also enjoyed art, poetry and listening to music. Most of all, Bill was fascinated with people. He never met a stranger and could enjoy a conversation with anyone. He was predeceased by his wife Lois (nee McLeod), children Laura and William Jr. Survived by his children Faith (Evans) Neale, Colleen Cooke, Frank (Carol), Duncan (Melinda), 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Monday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
