My partner and I had several very happy and entertaining visits to the Highland Fling. Matt personally cooked us breakfast and we sat up at night around the woodstove with Matt and Iris and their beloved pets. We heard dramatic stories of how they met during World War II, as well as many tales of their very own "Fawlty Towers." Matt clearly cherished very deeply, and was very proud of, his three daughters and their families.
Our sincere condolences to Iris and all the family.

Dear Iris and family,
We join you in grief. Matthew brought so much joy to all who were lucky to know him, and we are grateful that we did. He was such a special, good man who radiated light. Most of all, his adoration for you, his daughters and your whole family was evident in every word. Your family loves beautifully, and it is because you and Matthew shared your great love.
Please know you are in our prayers. I want to be hugging you now. Love, Debbie and Kevin, Jackie, Daniel, Caroline and Kevin Patrick
