Obituary of William Hettinger

William "Bill" Hettinger, age 63 died on July 10, 2015 at his home in Pitman where he lived since 1976. Raised in Williamstown, Bill graduated from Williamstown High School in 1970. He served in the US Air Force from 1972-1976. Bill worked in Quality Assurance for the Department of Defense, NAVSSES in the Philadelphia Naval Yard. He retired in 2012 after 45 years. He later worked as an Inspector for Kawasaki Rail Cars. He was a member of the American Legion Post 821, Bridesburg, PA and the Williamstown Masonic Lodge #166. Survived by his wife Maria P. (nee Klenieski), children Leah (John) Kerchner, Crystal (William) Tull, William H. II, grandchildren Lilly, Jimmy, Hana Kerchner, Samantha and Benjamin Tull and sister Mary Hettinger. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday after 6pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Masonic service will be at 8pm. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
