Obituary of Robert James Peel

Robert James Peel, Jr., age 47 years, of Glassboro, NJ, died November 11 at his home. Born in Lower Merion, PA, he was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, West Chester University, and had lived in Glassboro for 21 years. He was formerly employed by the Hartford Insurance Co. in Philadelphia. He was very active in youth sports, especially Little League and Basketball. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, served as an usher, and was formerly on the Vestry. He was also an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. Survived by his wife of 22 years, Ann S. (nee Scrymser), children Emily, Robert III, and Timothy, parents, Robert Sr. and Joanne, paternal grandmother Mae Schwenke, brother Ronald and sister Karen Miller. Friends may call on Wednesday from 8 to 10:30AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Requiem Eucharist at 11AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, NJ 08071. Interment private in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
