Obituary of Mary D. Raffa

Mary D. Raffa (nee Biello), age 88 died on October 23, 2011. Born in Glassboro, she lived there most of her life and has lived in Juniper Village, Williamstown for the last four years. She was a member of St. Bridget's Church where she was a Sodality Member for 10 years and a member of the choir. Mary was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary, member of the Glassboro Senior Citizens Club and Glassboro Senior Chorus. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked for the Sewing Factory, the Hosiery Mill and Grant's Store all in Glassboro. She was the daughter of the late Mary (nee DelVecchio) and Frank Biello. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Samuel Francis Raffa. Survived by her cousins Joseph (Shirley) DiTaranto, Virginia (Donald) Barger, Grace Pionkowski and their families. Friends may call on Saturday 11:30am - 12:30pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 1pm in St. Bridget's Church, Church St, Glassboro, NJ.
