Sanrino was 2 years younger than me, I was in the same grade as
Brenna. I have not seen Sandrino since High School, but I have heard throughout the years from friends what a great job he was doing, serving our country. I send my condolences to the Plutino Family, they should not grieve the loss, but celebrate his glorious life. I want to thank the family for raising a fine young man who fought for our freedom, I found comfort in the fact that Sandrino lived for the Lord. He is in a better place, God Bless

I personally didn't know him but my Husband, Josh, came back to the states & is staying with the family now. Josh talks nothing but wonderful great stories & memories that they two have shared together. My thoughts are with the family & friends who lost not only a son, but a brother to the 1/75th Ranger Battalion, a friend to many. There are many of us who would've loved to have been there but just know that he is in our hearts, our minds and prayers. <3

Dianne,
I only remember Sandrino as a little boy when I visited with you many years ago..but what a little boy he was! He was absolutely gorgeous and a real pistol. What a Man he grew up to be and still gorgeous. Even in your tears and sadness, you must feel such pride for your wonderful Son. I know this is the highest form of loss for you, his Mother, but it is the highest form of patriotism for his country. I sincerely thank Sandrino for his gift to all of us. There is no greater gift that he could give in the service of our country than to give his life to keep us free. He is my Hero. God Bless You and the memory of your Beautiful Son. My sincere sympathy to everyone in Sandrino's world who must now live without him.
With Prayers,
Sandra Chango

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Mr. and Mrs. Plutino, Brenna, Natalie along with the rest of the family and friends of Sandrino. He truly is a patriot. Looking through pictures brought back so many memories of happy times together, which makes my heart ache to hear of your loss. We are so proud of what you accomplished because it takes a special person to do what you have done. You had the warmest hugs and a sense of calm like no other. Those memories are from years ago but still hold a special place in my heart. You will not be forgotten. Our thoughts, prayers and support are with you.
My husband is currently in the military, a Recruiter for the Army National Guard and I pray every day for all Soldiers and their Families. I know Sandrino has the same thoughts about his country as my husband and everyone else who serves this great Country. It’s a thankless job, keeping us free is not an easy task and not everyone will stand up for what they believe in, and those that do should be commended in life not just death.
In these days of sadness we look back and celebrate the life and service of Sandrino and honor his courage to stand up for all Americans and the American way of life. “As a fellow brother in arms, I thank you, and hope to be the best Soldier I can be and keep the memory of all my brothers alive.
Thank you again for the ultimate sacrifice you have given so our daughter can sleep sound at night.
With love,
SFC Richard A. DiPalma & Danielle DiPalma (DeFlavia)

I met Sandro when we were Site-Blavelt Engineers, here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
What a wornderful handsome young man, with so much to live for, to have lost his life so soon.
While words, thoughts, and prayers will never replace the loss of your son, I will forever be grateful that he fought against the evil in this world so that we can live in freedom.
May God somehow provide comfort during this extreme sense of loss and mourning.
Forever grateful for his service to our Country,

I have no words that can bring comfort to your hearts. But I know what it feels like to loose someone you love. For me not even time can ease the pain but only the memories that live in my heart and in my mind. So when you feel the need to see him just one last time, remember the wonderful times shared. I pray the Lord gives you strength. As I found re-newed strength in the words of Mrs. Plutino, " He Knew what he wanted and he knew Jesus". For if you know Jesus then you can trust that he lives forever and not only in your hearts and in your memories but in the Kingdom of Heaven where all believers will be united with Christ.
My condolences and prayers will be with Natalie and the Plutino family.

This guy was one of the nicest people you will ever come across. I knew Sandrino for most of my life and looking back I am hard pressed to remember him without a smile on his face. We were classmates, we were team mates, but most importantly we were friends.
Sandrino and I were on the wrestling team together from the first time I ever stepped onto the mat (4th Grade). He was always one of the first hands that greeted you after a victory or the first voice you heard picking you up after defeat. He was a leader. He had guts and heart which made him a nightmare for anyone standing across from him on the mat. These traits I'm sure played a big part of him becoming the decorated soldier he was.
I will miss you Sandrino but I will remember you for the friend you were and the dedicated soldier you became. Thank you for your service and all the lastings memories you left behind. So long my friend.
