A wonderful, kind-hearted woman that loved dearly and spent many an hour talking with over the years. She loved to talk about our family genealogy and had a great poem to pass-on ("The Shindle Poem")that she had learned from her grandmother.
She even wrote a couple of absent-notes for me and my friend Ed in high school, when nearly caught cutting classes. Thanks, again, Auntie! I will miss you and our talks, a lot!!!

To the family, Carolyn, Bernise and Joan, the Grandchildren and the Great Grandchildren; I remmeber your Mother involved in so many things as we were growing up. She was always there to give a helping hand when needed. I will be praying and thinking of each of you as you celebrate her life. May you keep the many special memories close to your hearts and she will always be with you. Blessings, Jane Pape
