I think I can honestly say I have never met anyone with more zest for life than "Aunt Jean." She was only my aunt by marriage to Gary, but treated me like family from the moment we met at the Spytek reunion years ago. Ours was a long distance relationship in which she taught me much about embracing life's simple graces in every circumstance.
Along with her sisters Blanche,Freda and Helene,(my mother-in-law) these Spytek women have gifted me with amazing wisdom. What a blessing that Aunt Jean lives on in each of us who knew and loved her!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Piecara family during this tough time. I remember spending a wonderful time with your mom during the family reunion in PA. She was a lovely person and full of energy, passion and laughter. I really enjoyed getting to know her during that trip. Because of the wonders of e-mail she was able to keep in touch with our mom (Helene) very closely over the last several years. I know that meant a lot to our mom. Our door is open if any of you are ever in Alaska!
Take care,
Gary Cartwright

We will sadly miss Jennie.
A truly great lady. I hadn't seen or spoken with her in about twenty years but still have many memories of the house on Garnet Mine Road and all of the pups - first the Mini dachshunds and later the Shelties. My condolences to Jim, Terri, Kathy & Jeanie.

Not only did you give me life, you made me the person I am today through your example and your selfless, unconditional and boundless love. When I look up at the night sky now, I know you’re out there, soaring somewhere but you’re still with me and always will be. Love you, Mother.

We joked about this as long as I can remember, but it's true: All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother. ~Abraham Lincoln
