Obituary of Alan F. Dankel

Alan F. Dankel, Jr. age 59 died on November 28, 2010. He was a graduate of Deptford High School in 1969 and attended Camden County College. In 1970 he was the NJ State Wrestling Champion for the AAU Tournament. Alan lived in Washington Twp. since 1976. He was a Quality Control Inspector for Boeing in Ridley Park, PA for 25 years. He was a member of the UAW and the US Trotters Assn. Alan enjoyed his sons' concerts and sporting events and was an avid fisherman. He loved his wife and sons and was not only an exceptional husband and father as well as a role model, but a best friend to all of them. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Leslie J. (nee Elberson), sons Andrew A. (Jennifer) and Timothy J. (Jovielyn), father Alan Dankel, Sr. and stepmother Dolly and sister Kathy (Jerry) Scarborough. He was predeceased by his mother Joan Dankel. Friends may call on Thursday 9-11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
