Obituary of Lucie B. Caven

Lucie B. Caven (nee Brooks), age 99 died on November 17, 2010 at the Pitman Manor where she lived since 1986. Lucie was born and raised in West Virginia and was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. In 1951 she moved to Pennsville and began a teaching career with the Pennsville School System. After retirement, Lucie volunteered with the Visiting Nurses Assn in Pennsville. She was a former member of the Pennsville United Methodist Church and member the Pitman United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Eugene C. Survived by son Gene (Toby Jo) of Maple Shade, NJ, Mary Ann (Brian) McGunigle of Lloyd Harbor, NY, Susan (Daniel) Malone of Plantation, FL, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 9:30-10:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 10:30am. Interment Lawnside Cemetery.
