My deepest sympathies to the Facciarossa girls in the untimely departure of Mrs. Facciarossa. She was way too young. Nonetheless, I hope you can be comforted by the opportunities she had to see you grow up and to welcome her grandchildren into this world. All the very best to you in this difficult time.

Joanne and I taught together at Saint Bridget's in Glassboro. I began teaching when I was only 20 years old and a Junior in college. Joanne was a friend and mentor to me. I will never forget Joanne's many kindnesses to me. She was a wonderful inspiration to me! I am remembering her and her beautiful family in my prayers.

I am in Maine a year after Mandy and Tom's wedding. Jay just asked to have blueberry pancakes for breakfast and I just got off the phone with Mandy talking about Aunt Joanne. As I was flipping pancakes I realized a year ago; almost to the day, Joanne was standing next to me flipping pancakes the day after their wedding for the brunch. We had a great time!
Lori, I'm so glad I got to meet your Mom! She was a wonderful, fun loving person. It was a special time for Tom and Mandy and I know it meant a lot to them that she was there for them! She made it fun for all and I know Big T had a great time being with his sister.
Love to all the family,
Maureen & Jay Thorn

I am so sorry to learn of Joanne's passing... I met her many years ago when my oldest son first attended her pre-school... She was a wonderful woman and her way with children was a special gift. She made The Good Apple a one-of-a-kind place for kids and parents alike. Hold your memories in your hearts to comfort you through this incredibly difficult loss...
