Maureen used to cut my hair. She once tried to bleach it, but it didn't take, thankfully! She walked me to the Dairy Queen and we got rockets. I will always remember what a kind, gentle person she was.
I'll miss you Maureen.
Love you,
Kim

I guess some of our earlier years together included times at Laurel Lake, Crystal Beach, and Maus' beach cottage. My memories of Reen were watching her master the pogo stick, riding her green bike, and going to visit Aunt Virginia & stopping for a coke at the gas station. Something else that captured my memory was a time I watched her walking on the doorknobs at her house. As we got older, she was always eager to join in for family games at 505 and at Jeanne and Chuck's. I'll always remember her low, kind of quiet chuckle. I know she's at peace now, but will be forever missed. My heart is with Bruce, Linda, Jeanne, Gary and everyone who loved her so much.

I think my best memory of Maureen is the day she married Bruce. It was a perfect wedding in a perfect setting on a perfect day. Maureen looked beautiful and was so in love. She was happy and just made everyone in the room happy. And I'll always remember the sound of her laughter as she said "Pay Me", raking in her nickels on one of our many game days. Maureen, thank you for leaving me with the kind of memories that will always make me feel good. I'll miss you. Rest peacefully. Your cousin, Deb

I have 3 sisters: Margie, Debbie, and Kim. But years before I had those sisters, I had 3 others: Linda, Jeanne, and Maureen.
During the early years of my life, I spent many summers with my first sisters at the seashore - Wildwood Crest, Crystal Beach, and Laurel Lake. We all loved jumping the waves and playing with the inner tubes.
I spent countless nights of my younger years sleeping in a bunkbed at 1538 Woodland Avenue, while Maureen told stories as we all fell asleep. Summer nights we would sleep out on the screened porch on Army cots. Sunday afternoons after church we played paper dolls, and Maureen would entertain us by cartwheeling across the street! We'd stay out until it got dark, playing Red Rover and Mother May I. By the time I was a teenager, I was off to the dances with my first sisters at Sharon Hill High School.
After graduation, Linda and Jeanne started their own families, and Maureen and I grew even closer. We became roommates, and together with 4 other friends, rented a house and spent summers in Margate. More than 40 years later, The Margate Girls still keep in touch - going to dinners and movies, playing cards, having silly pajama parties, and returning to Margate to visit our first house on Jefferson Avenue.
Several years ago, Maureen and I took a trip to Chicago on Amtrak. On the way back, we sat up all night in the dining car, playing cards and never going to sleep.
Holidays in our family aren't complete without Game Night. I can still hear Maureen saying, "Pay Me!" as she proudly took the pile of nickels.
I am lucky to have so many memories of Reen and all that she has shared in my life. She was my cousin, and she became my sister, my travel companion, my roommate, and my friend.
Thanks for all the happy memories, Happy.
Love Always,
Beth

Maureen was my wife, partner and best friend.
Someone once told me that just being with her had a calming effect.
Those in need of a kind word or some encouragement found it in Maureen.
For twenty-five years I was blessed with the privilege of loving her more each
and every day. Our own little love story.
My thanks to all our relatives and friends who were so gracious and supportive during these difficult times.

I last saw Maureen many years ago during a visit to the campground from New Hampshire. My most memorable remembrance was when we worked at Seabrook Station , NH. I miss the old Seabrook days when we were all so close and had so many get together ‘s . I remember how kind and friendly Maureen was. From my last visit at the campground Maureen commented on how she loved my New England accent , something I never forgot .
Bruce, I am truly sorry for your loss. I wish I had magic words that could fulfill the emptiness of not having Maureen at your side but truly believe her spirit will never leave you and be long lasting .

My deepest condolences to Bruce and Maureen's family at this sad time..My memory of Maureen will also live on each time I play golf. As I will also use the ball markers she brough back for me when she went on her golf trip with the guys.. She will always be my favorite golf buddy ..and I thank her for that .. I could always depend on her for our Golf days on Tuesdays and any other days we could get together for practice on a round of golf.. also for being my partner in the many golf tournaments that we were it .. In which at our first played tournament we won our first trophy. Now I will use that as a remembrance of my dear friend Maureen along with all the great memories of all the great times we shared on and off the golf coures.. With much regrets I will be unable to attend her funeral service. My granddaughter is being Married in North Carolina on Saturday and we are leaving for there on Friday morning.. I want you to know that Reen will be on my mind at we go to one of her favorite states North Carolina ..Bruce I want you to know Maureen will always be in my thoughts and prayers and I will not play another round of golf with- out thinking of her and all the great times we shared on and off the coures.. May Maureen Rest In Peace.. and know how much we cared.. Love Dot
