Leona, Debbie and family, the words do not exist to convey the sorrow in my heart for you at this time, just as they do not exist to express the joy I feel for the blessing of having witnessed what I have witnessed of Ed's life and of your love for one another.
Our faith assures us that Ed has traveled to his eternal home and in that knowledge we rejoice and give thanks. It's our human heart that suffers through the adjustment of life without our loved ones. Yet even in our suffering, we also rejoice that we have known Love so wonderful, so magnificently wonderful that it must be as close as we humans can get to seeing and touching the face of God, for God is Love.
Please know that I care for you and that I celebrate Ed's life with you, just as I mourn his passing with you.
