Aunt Nancy was many wonderful things, but what always stood out was her ability to raise children with such a wonderful appreciation of family; a tough task in this day and age. She was a throwback of great - yet, wonderfully quiet - strength and her children will continue to be living testaments to just how impacting a parent she was. She was a role model for anyone who wanted to raise children to care about the right things.

I got to know Nancy and Bill at there home that they opened up for Bible Study. I saw in Nancy God's real love. She had for God, her husband, and her children, an her eyes would light up when talking about the little grand children. She was exaample of how we are all to live. She had a quite Spirit filled of the fruits of the Spirit. I will always remember her smile for everyone and a good word. She was walking her faith every day as it was her last. I will miss seeing her smile here. The Promise an Hope we have is that we will see her & her smile again soon. Love you all.

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Nancy was from our wedding and we have it on video! She was dancing with Brian and just having a blast! I can't help smiling when I watch it. I'm so blessed to have the pleasure of knowing her!

Mom Murray,
Over the past 15 years, we have developed a close relationship. I found very early on that our sense of humor was very similar. I have always enjoyed our talks on any and all topics. You were always an extremely good listener. You consistently gave Godly advice. You had a very difficult childhood, and I was amazed how you were able to make lemonade from lemons in every situations. You never made excuses and forever remained loving and loyal. Thank you for being a second Mom, and ensuring that I treated you daughter, Shannon, well. I recall when you would sleep over when David and Aidan were born. We would stay up to watch comedy movies, and we would carry on laughing. You gave the best lunchboxes at Christmas time. I can recall so many funny situations with your cars, shopping, and other humorous activities.
The suddenness of your passing has left a deep void in your family that will heal with time. One solace is the knowledge that you are rejoicing in Heaven with God’s beloved. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You were always so alive and smiling for the work that Christ Jesus had given you. Your body was just your earth suit, while your personality and emotions were contained in your beautiful spirit. You were one of my favorite people on earth.
While we were preparing for the funeral, I had an opportunity to read through your Bible and see which passages encouraged you or revealed some of God’s Truth to you. I found that most of them consisted of Love showed in our deeds and not just our words, loving others, including our enemies, and enjoying the forgiveness the Jesus has afforded us by living a righteous life consistent with Jesus’ examples. Thank you for being a lasting Christian example to Shannon, the kids, and me. We will never forget you, and David and Aidan will always talk about their Grammy. I will see you someday in eternity.
Love,
You adopted Son through Marriage

Nathan, our 4-year-old son, had a lot of anxiety about entering the "big boy" Sunday school class at church. We talked about how much he would like Miss Nancy and what a good teacher she would be. He had so much fun that first week with "Miss Ancy," no tears, just a big smile! We're so thankful for the time we got to know Nancy and can't wait to see her again, with big smiles of our own!

I remember the last time I was able to talk to Nancy..it was at David's birthday party and I was pushing my daughter on the swing while she pushed David. There was always such a sparkle in her eye when she was with her grandchildren! She was such a soft-spoken, gentle guidance to them and they are blessed to have had such an amazing "grammy".

Dave and I are so sad about Nancy's passing. We enjoyed very much sharing our grandchildren, David & Aidan, together.
So sad for us who are left behind, but a time of rejoicing for her as Jesus welcomes her into his arms of love.
Love,
Dave & Luanne Zipkin

I had the opportunity to sit and talk with Nancy one day after church. We talked about our families, backgrounds and how we were led to Hope Christian Fellopwship. I will always remember her smile and the way her eyes lit up when she spoke about her children, grandchildren and the Lord. Oh the love she had for them!

Nancy had a smile, heart, voice and spirit that would lift anyone up. When she opened her mouth to sing the notes just drifted out right from her soul. She will be terribly missed down here-

She always wore a smile. She and Bill always the gracious and kind hosts. She will be missed. Praying for the family - that the promise of the reunion that awaits will help in their grief. God bless.

Nancy had a wonderful, sweet, quiet spirit that was evidenced to me from the very first time I met her. She was so encouraged and filled up from sitting in the worship service at Hope, that she couldn't even express her graditude without tears. It touched me in a deep way and I have never forgotten her desire to worship and sing praise to God. She was a blessing to sing with and to listen to, as she always sang from her heart to the Lord. I will miss her sweet smile and gentle spirit in our worship team and as a dear friend. I am honored to have known her and will look forward to the day we will all be reunited with the Lord.

My favorite memory of Aunt Nancy was when she came down to Florida to visit us and did the "brown recluse" dance or scream out of the house...so funny. I'll always remember her on the beach in the middle of summer slathered in sunscreen with pants and long sleeve shirt on and under a towel for fear of a sun burn :) Aunt Nancy you truely were an angel here on earth. Anyone would be proud to be as good and caring a woman as you were. You will always be in my heart and in my thoughts....love you and goodbye for now

Uncommon Valor: She waited for her future husband to return from Vietnam.
Selfless Spirit: She remained faithful through the hardships and challenges of life.
Unconditional Love: She raised four children in the light of the Lord.
Gracious Generosity: She helped others achieve their dreams; putting her dreams aside.
Nancy was an angel on Earth and now -- an angel in Heaven.

Nancy was a great co-worker.She always smiled and was calm at work. You knew everything was going to get done when Nancy was at the front desk. What little down time she had she spoke lovingly of her family. She always had a story to tell us and we loved her sense of humor. She will be missed by us all.

She will be greatly missed by so many and has made such a differance in this world with her presence, She lived what she believed and it radiated from her in every way, she always showed the love of Jesus in all she did and her wittenss was her life, she did not even have to speak a word to show God's love, she has made such an impact in my life and if it wasn't for her undying love for the Lord I would not know Him today, she has definatly planted good seeds in many peoples lives and had made a differance for the Kingdom, singing with the angles now to her Lord and always singing in our hearts, muchly missed but to be seen again one day in Glory...Thank you Nancy for showing mE what the Love of God can do....it can change a life...

Mommy - I miss you so much. You were such a wonderful example of a Godly wife and mother. I hope and pray that I am 10% of what you were. You truly were an inspiration to me and I cherish all of the memories we have together. You were another mother for Dave and a wonderful Grammy for our boys. I just wish I could hug and kiss you one more time. I love you mommy!

I'll remember as a child driving in her yellow station wagon with barely a floor in it. "Just keep your feet up and don't drop anything" she'd laugh as we would look down at the street passing by underneath. She saw beauty in everything and everyone. Such a beautiful person inside and out. She always had a smile to share and will always be smiling down on her family and friends. We'll miss you here but take comfort in knowing you're in a wonderful place.

Words cannot express your loss. Nancy, and I worked side by side, I will truly miss her. Whenever I see a Cape May Sunset, I will think of her, and I can't leave out the chocolate frosted cream donuts, we often shared. She was one of a kind. God Bless you all.
