Through all of these years you insisted I call you Dad, even as I constantly insisted on calling you Pop-Pop; but it goes to show you thought of us as daughters. I will always remember the way you always had to grab our hand and give us a kiss on the cheek as you would say, "well hello gerry". Our phone calls were always enjoyable and you always knew it was me before I said who it was.Time on the phone would fly by and before I knew it we had been chatting for hours. I have so many fond memories of you and I will miss you a lot. Love, Gerry

It’s weird. For some reason you just never know when it’s going to come. Usually growing up for most, you have no real concept of death or why people leave us. Unfortunately for me and my family, we had to deal with it early while I was still in elementary school. No matter when or how often you have to deal with death, it seems to never get any easier. In fact, it actually gets a little harder each time.
Looking at all the photos of family and recalling all the memories we had throughout the years, brings me great comfort and joy of the good times. Pop-Pop was always so loving and kind to me. I remember going to Malaga with my Dad to see him on weekends and during the summer. While Dad worked in the garage on his cars, Pop-Pop and I would sit at his little table. I remember looking at all the photos of family he had in frames and pictures tacked on the wall. I would be drinking a can of generic soda and he would sip his coffee and read the newspaper. I remember that he always had a little coffee on the saucer that had spilled out of his cup. Sometimes he would even make me some fresh squeezed orange juice just so I could see the juicer work. He used to put me on his lap and get out his glasses. Then he would grab off the wall a little article cut out from the newspaper. It was usually about me and the last little league game results. It made me so happy and with a big smile on his face, he would put his hand on my head and ruff-up my hair.
I always remember him with a smile. This is just one of many great memories I have and will continue to remember, especially when I pass that old red shack at 1234 Delsea Drive. I love you, Pop-Pop and always will.
Love, Georgie

Pop pop, I don't even know where to begin. I have to say my best memory is the compact covergirl make up set I got for Christmas. I was shocked that you knew I wanted it! How we got a full cans of soda with every visit. He always fed us when we went to visit. I am going to miss you Pop pop and all the stories that we looked forward to hearing. I know that you are always watching over us. Not a day will pass with a thought of you. Love you.
