Cioci Sophie Matyasik is greatly missed. I remember as a child of 6 or 7 having sooo.. much fun at her Hilltop NJ home during Birthday parties for Joyce and Ron. Along with husband Walter, the Matyasik home was filled with joy and laughter (I'm 65 years old now).
Sophie was kind, gentle and most of all had the most infectious laugh of all time. I can still hear that laugh out loud!
The three Pyzik sisters Sophie, Mary, and my mom Cecelia shared a life-long bond of not only sisterhood, but also true friendship. They looked out for each other in an inspirational way having gone through a terrible time during the depression of the 1930's. Yes, I am inspired by Sophie and her sisters. May Cioci Sophie rest in peace.....xoxo.
