Patricia and I were French majors together at Glassboro State. She was one of the funniest people I've ever known, and a great French student. We sometimes studied at her house in Pitman as well as on campus. I just ran across her obit today, and even though it's been nine years since she passed, I wanted to add to her tributes here. I'm so sad that she got cancer; what a nice friend she was.
Pat was a true 'giver'. I met her in the early 1980's when we shared some mutual accounts. She was always bright, peppy, interested in everything and we shared dinners and quick post-work glasses of wine. i will along with everyone else really miss her, and offer my deepest sympathies to Pat's family at this very sad time.
Pat was a wonderful friend. She always knew how to encourage or comfort when it was needed. Her friends and family meant so much to her. We shared many laughs together. Some of our goofiest moments are my favorites. But with all the great memories, I am inspired the most by the strength and grace and dignity with which she faced her illness. She is truly an amazing person. I will love her and miss her forever.
I was very sad to learn of Pat's passing. I enjoyed working with her and knew I could count on her to get her part of the project done on time. I was pleased when she was assigned to support me on a deal and saddened when she could no longer work.
I could count on her to recommend a restaurant when I needed to be in Philly, a good book to read, or the best movies to see. She was always so optimistic and upbeat.
She is missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
I wanted to send you my condolences for Pat. She was such a special person. I worked with her over the last 7 years at IBM with our roles working together on solutions. She was such a positive influence and she supported me during the illness and passing of both my mom and dad. I will never forget her positive thoughts and always fighting to conquer the world.
