Dearest Pat and Family, I am so very deeply sorry for your loss of your beautiful, handsome, precious Art. I didn't know him personally, but felt that I knew him well through his dearest wife, Pat, and through his posts on FB. What a wonderful man he was...so brave and strong and courageous with all he had to deal with with his health. May you all find peace and comfort in all of your wonderful, loving memories of Art. I am here if there is ever anything dearest Pat that I can do for you. My heart is so broken right now for you. Take the time you need to grieve and remember how very much Art loved you and was devoted to you and his family. You are a very dear and precious friend to me and I send you my very deepest sympathies! God Bless You dearest Pat and take good care of yourself!
With my deepest sympathy,
Love to you and lots of prayers as well, Beverly Guy

I only knew AJ from an online site ( United Gun Owners of PA ) and had a few conversations with him. He was a very like-able mand who would take the time to explain things in a way that any one could understand. Although we never actually met in person I feel that I DID know a part of the man... and for that I am thankful. My prayers and condolences to all the family and friends in NJ from someone in PA that will remember his always. God Bless.. and JA... Rest In Peace my friend.

I only know Art as a third party and spoke to Art at a few opportune times. What I have observed through time is that Art is a good example of a good person, involved in life, showing the love he has for his wife, children ,his family and friends.
I am a semi-stranger to him but I loved his compassion for his friends and acquaintances on facebook. Besides through life... He is an inspiration by doing all he could to get well and kidding about it and sharing that journey with others. He was brave and a true clear spirit.
The picture in the hospital with the gun was one of a kind and he stood, even then: for what his passion was, his humor and belief in the NRA.
My heart and prayer is with his family and close friends and acquaintances.
He has passed as all things will... but his character will live on... by his influence to people, animals and strangers will because of him.
Love to you Barton Family ... Marie

Art was a great man. I met Art while working @ Gloucester Terminal. Everyday as I walked past the security booth he would rib me about my blue camaro that needed a Cowboy Star!!! He would always refer to my car as a cowboys fan. Art was always so nice to my husband and I. We will always remember him! He remained a positive person through everything he went through and I am happy to say that I knew Art. RIP Art!!
Everyone @ Jac Vandenberg also sends their condolences.
