I see that some of you think this might be a cross between a dog and a cotyoe. Definitely a possibility, but I did confirm the defining characteristics of a cotyoe. They include yellow eyes, sharp pointed ears, and a bushy tail with a black tip. The black tip is difficult to see in this image, but dogs do not share any of these characteristics. I also checked on the possibility of a this being a wolf, but the Red Wolf has been extinct in Florida since 1985.A cotyoe has recently been spotted in the Greenwood cemetery in downtown Orlando, so an urban cotyoe is not out of the question. Perhaps someone with more experience with canines could weigh in with an expert opinion.
