Obituary of Howard Stephen Framer

Howard S. Framer, age 84, passed away June 11 at Underwood Memorial Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey. He had been a resident of Pitman for 52 years. Howard was a self employed machinist/millwright prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church and previously served as a Deacon and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church, Pitman. He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #197 F&AM, Excelsior Consistory of 32 Degree Masons and Crescent Shrine. He was a hard worker all of his life, always willing to lend a helping hand. Howard was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather and his greatest joy was his family. Howard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret (Senor), daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Joe Walker of Pitman and granddaughters Sloane and Ramsey Walker. He is also survived by his brother Karl of FL and sisters Hazel Davis of Lower Alloways Creek, NJ and Pearl Guy of FL. Friends may call on Friday 7-9pm with a Masonic Service at 8pm, and Saturday after 9:30am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30am.
