Many years ago, as a little girl, I was a member of
The Chapel Heights Methodist Church. I always recall Mr. Ayling playing the trumpet at Christmas and Easter. Such talent.
Cherish all your happy memories.

As a young girl growing up in PUMC, I can remember Mr. Ayling always having a trumpet to his mouth. What glorious sounds he made with that trumpet!
As an adult, still in PUMC, I have been honored to visit him on several occasions in his latter years in the nursing care facility with the "Not Ready for Prime Time Singers", and see him smile as and try to mouth the words with us as we sang familiar hymns of the faith.
