Lisa and I roomed together at Hood College. She was the most level-headed person in our circle of friends. She was very bright, articulate and talented. I recall that she went to visit Michael almost every weekend--
My condolences to Michael and her children.

Mike and family,
I know you guys must be numb about the loss of Lisa, but I will always remember what a wonderful person she was. I'll remember how she opened up her shore house to the "Tour de Shore" bikers. That's the year Janet announced her pregnancy. Sitting on the beach, enjoying our youth. We played Trivial Pursuit that night and Lisa had all the answers. Thank goodness she was on my team! I know where the kids got their brains! She will be missed, but thank God for her life.
Love Donna and Rick.

Not everyone is lucky enough in their lifetime to find a friendship that endures through the years as Lisa's and mine did. We shared proms, graduations, college life, weddings, births, losing our parents, raising children and then raising teenagers! Lisa has been a constant in my life and I already miss her more than I can
express...she is the one who I would call for comfort in a time like this. As she faced this terrible disease, her strength came from her love for you, Michael, Sean, Heather and Scott, and the wonderful love that you shared was with her through her life and her death. Thank you for sharing her with me.

Mike I was so sad to receive the news about Lisa. She fouhgt a tough battle and was very brave. I am so happy to know you and her precious family were all with her. I know her family meant eveything to her.I remember meeting her and discussing the house when you were building it and how excited she was. I also remember all the tales of various escapades in the "early" years before you all had kids. She was so fortunate to have such a loving family and one who could be with her and support her being at home when death was so near. I know her faith and yours carried her to heaven in loving arms and she is happy in heaven where she can watch over her family and the children she adored.I am sorry I cannot be there Thursday, but I am thinking about you and the children.I know Your ANNA family sends the warmest thoughts and prayers. Love to you and the children,
Terran

I remember meeting Lisa at a dinner during an ANNA BOD meeting. We were talking about how we were both getting to the point where we would be needing reading glasses soon as we were trying to read the menu in a resturant with dim lighting. She was very friendly and I enjoyed talking with her. As I sit here writing this with my reading glasses on, I think how clearly Lisa can see things now as she is welcomed into heaven. We don't always understand God's actions. We can just trust.
Mike and family, even though Curtis and I could not make it to Pitman on Thursday, our thoughts are there with you.
Sincerely
sue and curtis cary

We were alway impressed by how much Lisa enjoyed being with children. Our daughter, Katie, went to Kindle School with Heather. Katie still remembers some invitations to go home with Heather for lunch and having a "really great egg salad sandwich" there. Since we were at work and couldn't be home at lunchtime, it meant a lot to us that Lisa could offer this little but memorable act of kindness. And our son, Jim, still talks about "the best Halloween house in town" that gave out the really BIG candy bars!
We offer our sincere sympathy on your loss, and are grateful that our family had the opportunity to know Lisa. Her kindness touched our lives.
Sincerely,
Linda, Chip, Jim, Katie, Emily and Joanna McHugh

Dear Mike,
My heart breaks for you. I remember Lisa fondly from our time together in high school. You were a wonderful couple, full of love, back then and until now.
For comfort read Genesis , Chapter 28: He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven." or Isiah 41: 10 "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you."
May you find comfort in these verses at this difficult time. My sincere sympathy to you and your children.

Our deepest sympathy is sent to all of you. All I can visualize is Lisa and Jeanne being inseparable. The two played and ate at our house or her house daily. If I had to do errands, Lisa's mom would watch Jeanne or vice versa. They were never apart for one day, the best of friends. You're in our prayers.
Love,

My heart truly aches for all of you. Lisa lit up a room with her smile and heart. Her kids were her life, the most important job to HER on this earth. I will always treasure the LONG visit I had with Lisa and how she walked me around your home and explained each and every picture of your precious kids to me, both old and recent pictures. She LOVED being a MOM and WIFE! I know I'll see her in Heaven one day and so will you. God Bless and My Deepest Sympathy...
