Dear Toppi and family,
We consider Joe's death a great loss to all his friends and associates. We fondly remember the good times we shared at Host Farms and the parties at Elmer's home. We will always remember Joe as a kind, gentle man who enjoyed a good time. We will always cherish his memory.

Joe will be greatly missed. He made people feel comfortable because he judged them by their goodness and strengths rather than their faults. He always extended his hand of friendship generously. I will always remember children sitting at his feet in church petting his seeing-eye dog. They not only loved the fact that there was a dog in the church, but it was pretty cool that Joe was such a nice man, too. I will also forever remember him and Topi in the Pitman Parade as we brought "Go, Dog, Go" to life. You guys are great sports.

He will be remembered as a person who always enjoyed life to the fullest. He was known, to me, as the "fun" uncle and always had a smile on his face. We will miss him but he is in a better place looking down on the whole family.

I can't be more sad to hear of Joe's passing. From the moment Anthony introduced me to him and Topi I felt as if we were old friends. I've never had a warmer welcome. He made me feel as if he couldn't be happier to be in my company and I felt the same in return. He was the most pleasant person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Even thought I only knew him a short time I feel as if I have lost a family member, I suppose because he treated me as if I were one.
May God Bless all who will miss him with the comfort of his memory and the knowledge we will all someday be in his company again. Love AnnaMarie
