Jacob was like another older brother to me !He was 4 months older then me !The thing I will miss most is when I was getting my hamster he suggested for my birthday him and my famliy get me a bunny! So now I am going to keep his promise and pick a rabbit and name it Jacob! But most of all,for those who don't knew me I'm a BIG stitch fan and I brought stitch into his life !So since I couldn't be there at his funeral because I was in Floridia I have asked my mom to put 1 of my 277 stuffed stiches into his coffin. All I have to say is I am going to miss you big "bro"!!!!Love, Stitch and your little "sis"

Derar Nicole, children and family. No words can possibly say what Jacob meant to everyone who met him, but I'll try anyway. I don't think we ever saw Jacob without his smile and that smile as well as those big eyes will live in our memories. He was always happy to see us and he made us feel special! I remember the Fourth of July we spent at Lake Garrison. Jacob was a Duck. His smile just kept getting wider and wider until I thought his face would break. The brothers played in the water with one another and would have stayed as long as we let them. I also loved how Jacob would sit quietly close beside you without saying anything, content with your company. Sure, I know that he didn't miss anything that way either. We are so very sorry that he is gone from our midst and cannot even imagine the devestation you must feel. But Jacob is watching over all of us now and not missing a thing! He will be present at every special time in your lives until you meet again. Nana & Pop-Pop Shainline

Jacob was such a special child. He brightened my days during the two years I was his teacher. He will always have a special place in my heart. I will continue to pray for you all...that the sadness you feel will be replaced with wonderful memories and a determination to live life to the fullest for that is how Jacob lived and would want all of you to continue to live. May the Lord surround you with his love and strengthen you as you face each day.

I am not sure where to start since Jacob was a blessing in everyone's lives. I remember the first time i met him, he had a huge smile on his face and was just happy to meet someone new. He was never sad, or even grumpy, and was kind to everyone he met. He is in a wondeful place now, and will be missed dearly. I hope that i will one day see him again but until then, he will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Johnson Family,
You may not know us, but we certainly knew Jacob. Our son, Christopher, took the same bus as Jacob. Chris cannot talk very much, but whenever we brought up Jacob's name his face would lite up and he would yell his name! He wanted to call our new daugter Jacob when she was born! Your son touched so many peoples lives. We are truly devostated by your loss. May all of our thoughts and prayers get you through this difficult time.
With love,
Chris, Robin, Christopher, and Abbie Adair

What a blessing and joy to have known Jcob during his short but precious life. Each day at school he was always so excited to be there and looked forward to whatever the day ha in store. Even when he wasn't feeling his best, he was always pleasant, and anxious to get back to class. He loved art, computers and boy could he sing his little heart out. Jacob always asked how I was whenever he came in the office, which was daily, to get his treatments or meds. Whatever you were doing he was always interested and noticed if you were somewhere other than where he expected you to be. He would leave a note on the desk and even made me a name plate on paper for my desk. He loved looking at the birthday list of the staff that was on my desk. He always kept up on whose birthday was coming up. He was always so excited about each upcoming holiday. Jacob was so looking forward to his 6th Grade graduation. I am so glad he was able to reach that goal. He had such a sweet relationship with each nurse that accompanied him each day to our nurse's office. He was very active in his own care and quite a character, putting on rubber gloves and helping out. We were going to miss him so much with him going to Clearview and told him to be sure to come back and visit. Never did i thin that this day would come so soon and my missing him would be so permanent. My life is richer to have known Jacob and shared what time we had. When I go home to be with the Lord , I will be happy to see him again, but until then many memories will keep him near. I am so very sorry for loss and pain of all who loved him. You are in my prayers.

Jacob, in my mind's eye, will always be standing tall with a smile on his face. He faced many challenges during his young life, but he just kept on going, doing what he could. He was a normal young boy, full of fun and a little ornery at times.

I am an office and lunch aide at JMT and I will always remember Jacob with a smile. He was a wonderful child- the kind who leaves an imprint on your heart that lasts a lifetime. We had some nice chats at lunch and waiting for the bus. I am very saddened by his passing, but I know that he is in a wonderful place now. I hope you may find some comfort knowing that he is at peace now and lived more of a life in his 12 years than many have lived in a whole lifetime. I will miss him dearly. May God bless you all.

I am very lucky to be one of the many people who knew and loved Jacob. He was not only my "patient", but my good friend. He always greeted me with a big hug and "how was your day?" I am so sad that he had to leave us, but I treasure every moment I did spend with him and I know someday he will be hugging me again. I Love You And Miss You Jacob.

Jacob will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, no matter how small a touch. I will never forget him, he changed my life the moment he entered it. The love he had to share was immense. He was my chatterbox.
I will never forget the WXTU Concert 2004, he and I sharing our special drink. The rain never stopped, but we still had the time of our lives.
How proud I was when he said when he grew up he wanted to be a teacher just like Mr. Rambo at Walls School in Ptiman and Mrs Bair at Centre City School in Mantua.
I will never forget all the calls from him to me at work. They always started the same way, hello, Hi, who is this?, Jacob, Jacob who?, Jacob Johnson, Do I know you?, yes, How do I know you? You came to my house the other night. Oh, that Jacob Johnson. Then he would tell my wife, Melanie, he's doing it again!
He was always thrilled when I was running an end dump truck at work. I will always remember the sparkle in his eye's when I got to take him to my place of work and take him for rides on the many pieces of equipment.
I guess what I am saying is that Jacob was a very spiecal part of my life and my family's life. We were together more than not. These are just a few of the many memories I have.
I hope that when he got to heaven that the many actors from "Wizard of Oz" were there to greet him and start their journey down the yellow brick road. I will not say good-bye, I'll just say so long Jacob, until we meet again!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! And Jacob, take care of my turtles for me till I get there, Thanks Dude, I Love You!!!!! Love your BDMF!!!
