Dot became our neighbor 10 years ago, when my husband and I moved onto her street. She was the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood with a wonderful homemade pie! I thought that was sweet. Then, after we had our 2 sons, she would always send over snacks for them, and make special treats for them on Halloween, etc. We couldn't of ask for a better neighbor, and she will be dearly missed.
