Obituary of William P. Murray

William P. Murray, Jr., age 66, died on March 30, 2015. Bill was raised and lived most of his life in Pitman (Class of '67) before living in Wenonah since 2009. Having served in the Vietnam War, he was also a servant of the Lord, leading Bible studies, writing and singing worship songs and sharing the Gospel wherever he could. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. (nee Headrick). He is survived by his wife Linda L. (nee Gravenor); mother Florence Murray; and children Michele (Joe) Kleinow, Jessica (Brian) Piotrowski, Shannon (David) Zipkin, William III (Anna), and by Linda's children, Anna (Paul) Battista, and Jennifer (Tom) Meindl. He also leaves behind grandchildren Joseph Kleinow; Cora, Ian and Avery Piotrowski; David III and Aidan Zipkin; Farrah, Fiona and Aili Murray; Lucas and Angelina Battista; and Tom Jr., Zachery, Ian and Jacquelynn Meindl. His surviving siblings include Dottie (John) Grillo, James (Rita) Murray, Michael Murray, Douglas (Esther) Murray, Norman (Karen) Murray, and Seclinda Murray. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 9-11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ 08071. Memorial service will begin at 11am.
