Obituary of David Ross Wilson

David "Ross" Wilson, age 94, died March 14, 2015 in the Pitman Manor, Pitman, NJ. Born in Montreal, Canada, Ross enlisted in the US Navy during WWII and became the first person to be promoted to Senior Chief. He then joined the Navy Reserves in 1945, serving his country for 22 years. He retired from Xerox Corp. as a Senior Trainer. Ross moved to Pitman in 1995 and was a member of the Pitman Lodge #197 F&AM. He was an avid sailor.
Predeceased by his first wife Stella (nee Golden) and his son David Lynn Wilson.
Survived by his wife Marilyn (nee Miller), daughter Marilyn (James) Scanlon, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, daughter in law Tatiana Wilson and 4 step children.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:30-6pm in the First Baptist Church, 30 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service at 6pm.
