Helen M. Garten (nee Herbert), age 90 died on February 14, 2015. She has lived in Sewell over 29 years and was a homemaker all her life.
She was predeceased by her husband John J. Garten and brother Lawrence Herbert. Survived by her children John (Lauren), Wayne (Maryann), Barry (Mary), sister Audrey Rogers and grandchildren James, Jenna and Jessica Garten.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with interment at Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 Delsea Dr, Clayton, NJ 08312. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
