Obituary of Vernon C. Nicholson

Vernon C. Nicholson, Jr., "Chuck" age 52 died peacefully on February 12, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. Chuck was a graduate of Delsea High School and Drexel University. He worked for Utility Line Service in Conshohocken, PA as a Construction Manager. He was a lifelong resident of Aura, NJ where he was raised in the Aura United Methodist Church. He was most recently a member of St. Bridget's Church, Glassboro. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Chuck hunted with the Paulsboro Stag Club. He served on the Elk Twp. Planning and Zoning Board and the Elk Twp. Board of Education. Chuck also enjoyed coaching his kids' T-ball and soccer teams in Elk Twp. He is survived by his wife Donna (nee Magazu), children Maria Catherine, Vernon Charles III, mother Beverly, brothers Curt, Clint (Sandy), sister Connie, 21 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Vernon C. "Skip" Friends may greet the family on Monday 6-8pm and Tuesday 9:30-10:45am in St. Bridget's Church, 125 Church St, Glassboro, NJ. Eulogies will be read Monday at 8pm. Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 11am. Interment Aura Cemetery.
