Obituary of Willard W. Yahnke

Willard W. Yahnke, age 82 years, died Sunday in Inspira Hospital, Woodbury, NJ. He was born in Milwaukee, WI and has lived most of his life in Pitman. A graduate of Pitman High School in 1950, he played basketball for the championship team that year. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. Willard was a Lab Technician for EI DuPont Inc., Chambers Works for over 40 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, and loved to travel back to Wisconsin, and going to the Casino's in Atlantic City and Pennsylvania He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dolores M. (nee Owens), daughter Donna (Chuck) Collier, son Robert, 3 granddaughters Danielle, Jessica, and Justine Collier, his sister Sally Berwick, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 9AM on Friday in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral Services 11AM. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery.
