Obituary of Dorothy L. Harwood

Dorothy L. Harwood (nee Davis), age 96 died on January 19, 2015. She lived in Pitman over 65 years. Dorothy was a member of the Pitman Fire Patrol Auxiliary where she served as President for two years and treasurer for 32 years. She was also a member and treasurer of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #49 and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #6469 Pitman. She was predeceased by her husband George C.., Sr. and children William Brining, Mary Fischetti, Frank Harwood and Benjamin Harwood. Survived by her children Edith Johns and George L. Harwood Jr, sister Virginia Cheeseman, brother James Davis, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Friday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
