DIXON, GLADYS ELIZABETH NIST, 92, died on January 3, 2015, in Pitman Manor Methodist Home, Pitman, NJ. Born at home on Pinehurst Avenue in Dormont on October 12, 1922, Gladys was one of 18 children of Louis and Esther Nist. She was a resident of Bethel Park for many years, and retired from Mellon Bank. After returning to Dormont, she volunteered at Mt. Lebanon Trading Post and the Dormont Senior Center, and continued her lifelong love of bowling and bingo. Loving mother of twins Donald and Robert, infant David (deceased), Dale (Patricia), Lynn (James) Zargan, grandmother of 7, and great-grandmother of 8. Also survived by her dear sisters Virginia Lee Matvey and Emma Kathryn Mason. Visitation 10-11 am and service 11 am on March 7, 2015, at Jefferson Memorial Park Chapel, 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, with Rev. Tom Barnicott officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a church or charity of your choice.
