Mrs. McCabe was one of the few truly kind and humble people I have met in this life. I remember her at school and around Glassboro. She was intelligent and not affected. She will be missed. Resquiat in Pace. My sincere condolences to the Mayor and family. Always, Michael Bazikos

Dear Mayor McCabe, Tom, and family,
Mary will be remembered in so many ways by the Zimmerman family. For my parents a friend and fellow parent. For me and my sisters a teacher and supporter of all our school and music programs. She shared her bright smile and great laugh. We send you our heartfelt sorrow and prayers during this family time and hope you feel the love from all of us.

There are no words to express the sorrow we feel for losing Mary. A wonderful and one-of-a-kind lady. We will always remember the good times had with she and Leo. Many dinners at the country club that she so loved.
We extend our heart-felt sympathy to Leo and family Mary will remain forever in our hearts

It is truly a sad day for Glassboro. I first met Mary McCabe when she and her husband were guest readers, as I was, at Read Across America Day celebrations at the Glassboro Public Library. She enjoyed the children at those events so much, and they often reminded her of her grandchildren. She was a gentle soul with a kind smile for everyone, and she cared for the community of Glassboro. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
