As a fellow member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I can testify that Sister Kathy Loper Slack lives and that she is with her eternal companion for time and all eternity. I can also testify that at some point in time her spirit will be joined once again to a perfected resurrected body free of the physical ailments that she endured in her brief earthly life. She always had a sweet spirit about her. We both joined the LDS Church as adults and I remember how happy I was to hear that she had joined the church. I had visited her ward several times over the past 33 years and would occasionally see her. I would have liked to have heard her conversion story.
Amy, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. My prayers are with you. I can always remember driving down your driveway wondering if I would fall of into the lake. Sonia was so lucky to have such good friends. Again my deepest sympathy.
Amy, so sorry to learn about your mother's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope you are finding some comfort in good memories.

Kathy had the most cheerful disposition,sunny outlook, and ready smile for everyone. I was always impressed by her creative talents and the generosity with which she shared them. She was such a pleasure to know and will be deeply missed.
