Obituary of Lewis Preston Brooks

Lewis Preston Brooks, Jr. "Sonny", age 74 passed away on September 16, 2014 at his home in Clementon, NJ. He was raised in Pitman. Sonny was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1958. He was the former owner of Brooks Pitman Amoco Gas Station. He also worked for Blackhawk Allen Test Products, All Data and FPX. Sonny enjoyed playing cards, fishing and cooking. Sportsfan of the Phillies and the Eagles. Survived by his sisters Louise Higgins and Nancy Doble of Pitman. Predeceased by his brother George Brooks of NC. Also survived by his children Charles, Cheri (Fred) Stowman, L. Preston III, grandchildren Frederick and Michael Stowman, Heather (Aaron) Novack, great grandchildren Cambria Hope Stowman, Oliver Novack and dear friend Rose Liddle. Friends may greet the family on Friday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am.
