Obituary of William M. Connolly

William M. Connolly, age 94 years of Washington Twp., NJ, died August 3 at Manor Care in Washington Township. Born in Danvers, MN, he had lived in Pennsauken for 40 years, Cape May for 18 years, and the past 14 years in Washington Township. He was a member of the Army Air Corps during WWII, serving as a radio operator on a B-17. He worked as an account representative for AT&T for 35 years. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Cape May, the VFW and Knights of Columbus, and an avid golfer. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Grace E. (nee Simcox), son Daniel (Diane), daughter Kathleen (Francis) Cavanaugh, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 - 10:45AM at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass at 11AM in Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
