Obituary of Vincent D. Gallagher

Vincent D. Gallagher, age 88 died on May 29, 2014 at his home in Glassboro. Raised in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of Glassboro. Vincent graduated from West Catholic High School in 1943 and received his Bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's University in 1950. He served in the US Army Air Corps form 1944-1946 during World War II. Prior to retiring from the Atlantic City Expressway, he was a salesman for heavy equipment. Vincent was a member of Glassboro VFW Memorial Post 679 and the Knights of Columbus Council 3132, Upper Darby, PA. He is survived by his wife Eleanor (nee Funk), children Vincent D. Jr. (Christine), Joseph (Maureen), Eileen (George) Krumenacker, Stephen (Lisa), Michael (Kris), 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 10am in Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish (Our Lady of Lourdes Church), 500 Greentree Rd, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
