Obituary of Nancy B. Tomlin

Nancy B. Tomlin nee Bowen passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 20th in her home in Sewell. Born in Huntington, WV, Nancy's family would soon relocate to Gloucester County where she lived her whole life before finally settling in Sewell with her husband. She was married to her husband Fred for 56 years. Nancy graduated from Pitman High School in 1964 and from the University of Delaware with a degree in Home Economics '68.Nancy's passion was her family and spending her time raising her two girls. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Glassboro. Nancy participated in a womans bowling league, as well as starting a Girl Scout Brownie troop. Nancy was a wonderful seamstress making beautiful clothes and quilts. She also loved art, participated in art shows and donated several of her oil paintings to Jefferson Hospital's neurology department. She will be dearly missed by her family, especially her beautiful blue eyes and her contagious smile. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Louise Bowen. She is survived by her husband Fred, children Jennifer(Benjamin) Mabie and Amy(Vince) Ceroli, her grandchildren Marisa, Dean, Joseph and Isabella and her siblings Sandra(Charles) McEvoy and Jack(Carroll) Bowen. Friends may greet the family at 10AM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Services will follow at 11AM. Interment will be held at Eglinton Cemetery in Mickleton, NJ. Those desiring may make a contribution to the First United Methodist Church of Glassboro Memorial Fund, 61 N.
