Obituary of James Donovan Hanley Jr.

James D. Hanley, Jr. passed away at his home on Thursday, June 13, 2024 after a long battle with a sickness. Born in Alexandria, VA James's family soon moved to Glassboro where he lived most of his life. James graduated from Glassboro High School in 1980. After high school he enlisted in the Navy where he served for 4 years. After the Navy he went on to work as an aircraft technician working out of Trenton, NJ. He had a great sense of humor and loved to be out on the golf course. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by his mother Lillian Hanley and his nephew David Raymond. He is survived by his father James Sr. and his sisters Theresa(Thomas) Forbes and Sharon Kier and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Forbes, Jason Forbes, Aaron Kier, Lee Forbes, Christopher Forbes and Roberto Magana. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews.\ A memorial mass will be held at St. Bridget's University Parish Church 121 Church St., Glassboro, NJ on Monday, June 24th at 11AM.
