Obituary of Charles John Schmidt

Charles John Schmidt, age 74 years, died April 1 at Inspira Hospital, Vineland, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived in Deptford and the past 14 years in Pittsgrove Township, NJ. A graduate of Pitman High School Class of 1968, he was a veteran of the U.S.Army serving from 1968-77, deployed to VietNam, and received many badges and medals during his military time. Charles was a heavy forklift operator and had been employed by John Mansville for 30 years. He was a member of the Glassboro VFW Post #679. Predeceased by his brother in laws; Russell Cronk, Dale Hauge, and Steve Yurgin.
Survived by his partner of 11 years, Frances A. Alullo, daughter Tracy (Richard) O'Meara, grandchildren Jenna, Joseph, and Jessica O'Meara. Also survived by his siblings; Robert (Jan), James (Jan), Carl (Linda), and John Schmidt, Carol Cronk, Dorothy (Raymond) DiBeneditto, Elaine (Thomas) Rice, Anna Hauge, Florence (Steve) Friedman, and Gerry Yurgin.
