Maggie was a tireless volunteer for the children of W.C. K. Walls School. She served as Vice-President of the Home and School Association for several years.
She ran and improved the Santa Shop for the children along with annual Spring flower sale. She was instrumental in raising the funds and organizing the instillation of the playground equipment which is still in place.
Maggie even continued, (with her own time and resources) to improve the grounds surrounding the school even after Felicia went on to Middle School.
It was no easy task after the schools addition project which left the ground rocky and had a lot of orange clay. She was so excited the year she finally found that earth worms were finally living in the soil.
She was a good friend, and a warrior for the children of this community. I will miss her terribly.
