Obituary of John Oliver Carothers Jr.
John Oliver Carothers, Jr., age 68 years, died November 16 at Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ, he was employed by BP Refinery as a Laboratory Technician from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. John served in the U.S. Navy from 1973-74, and had been a resident of Glassboro since 1976. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Clayton Elks Lodge #2132, member of the Woodbury Masonic Lodge and a member of the Glassboro VFW.
Survived by his wife of 47 years, JoAnne M. Duca, children; Dayna (Heather), Tara (William), and John (Kelly), and 9 grandchildren; Alexis, Riley, Angaleena, Jackson, Billy, Tatum, Madisyn, Blake, and Katrina. Also survived by his siblings; Kathleen, Ronald (Annette) Carothers, Dawn (Daniel) Wilkins, and Marie (Edward) Dodge.
