I am so sorry for you loss. I graduated from WTHS with Gary. He was always so nice, rather quiet, and always so kind. Family was always important to him. I pray the Lord comforts your aching & hurting hearts and will strengthen you in the days ahead. May God’s Blessing & Peace fill your hearts. ~ Linda Rhubart Phillips

I have so many memories with my dad. Christmas was always an exciting time in our house. Decorating the tree and waking up Christmas morning. Daddy always taking pictures. One year when I was a teenager my dad had a wood shop in our barn in Washington Township. I wanted a new bed for Christmas that year. For weeks before Christmas he had the wood shop locked and newspaper covering the window so no one could see. I swore he was building me a bed. Christmas morning we opened gifts and my mom and dad said Kim go get that one. It was under a blanket or something. When I uncovered it. It was a wood hope chest my dad made for me. I was a stupid teenager and was so disappointed. But guess what I still have. The hope chest my daddy made me. And I’m so grateful. I love you dad. Rip and enjoy your time with mom.
