Aunt Dobbie has touched the hearts of so many people. She always enjoyed having people around to share a laugh or two with. Everyone was a loving story or two tell about her. But in my case it’s more like hundreds. From all the family vacations we took growing up to the endless sleepovers at the Hoffman hotel. Aunt Dobbie and uncle Wes always wanted a house full of kids around and always made sure we had a bedtime snack. Honey buns and Hostess donuts and a glass of milk was always a staple. One of my favorite stories was the last time I got to see her on a trip to Florida. We had a great day of going to the horse races and later sitting on Was and Crystal’s porch laughing the night away. But my all time favorite was also on that same trip. I got to see her love for her Children Setting in a car behind Aunt Dobbie and Kathy and witnessing her hold Kathy’s hand on the ride home touch my heart. She maybe gone but will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Hoffman was a jolly lady who had a loud laugh and loved being involved in the action. Always happy and loved to know and share the gossip. Up for anything and could outlast the younger ones. A pure joy to be around. Devoted to her family. Someone who will be truly missed.

Mary was a bright spot in our lives for the past few years. Although we only knew her briefly, we could sit and pick up where we left off. She was a sweet, funny, kind, warm, loving woman and she is definately missed.

I am one of the few who called your Mom, Aunt Mary. She welcomed me into the family with a smile and chuckle. From camping, snipe hunting, late night sleepovers, loads of laughs, and so many more memories, she will be so missed. Between Elm Ave, Pitman,NJ, and finally Deerfield Beach,FL, Aunt Mary embraced life and lived a very full one.
Love to you all, Debbie Cronin

Mary's life was a testament to love, kindness, and generosity. Her vibrant spirit brightened our days with laughter while her thoughtfulness warmed our hearts. To know her was to experience the essence of friendliness and intelligence. As a cherished Mommom, she leaves behind rays of light in each memory shared with her. In times of sorrow, let these memories be your comfort, knowing that her luminous spirit continues to shine brightly within us all. I will forever cherish all the memories and life lessons I have with her! Im going to miss her smile and hearing her contagious laugh!

She was my second mother. She was a wonderful person and will be missed very much. The great times I had with the entire family in their Pitman house will be cherished forever! Poor Essie, another saint that we miss and had a wonderful time with as well. There’s a lot of great people meeting up in heaven right now and I hope they are looking down with pride of what they created in their family. Love you mom!!❤️

My Mom, She was our world! She was our rock, our go to person in life for everything. Her love for us as her children, the love she had for our Dad, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as all the family and dear friends was felt by all. She always made everyone laugh and feel her love as well as her joy for life. Whenever you entered her home in NJ, AL, or FL. She always made everyone feel so welcomed. The pride for family poured out of her through her smile, love and stories. I don’t know how Wes, Kathy and I will manage life without her, (except to remember our promise to mom,) to take over her role and be everything and to take care of each other. Our memories are wonderful and there are a lot! So, Mom, don’t worry about us. Enjoy your dances with Dad, the joy of being pain free and in the presence of the Lord. We thank you for the blessings of our beautiful life you gave us and to the many lives you touched. You’re in our hearts forever and we know you’ll always be watching over us. I Love and miss you so much my broken heart hurts. I will always carry your love and spirit with me through the rest of my life and one day we’ll be together again to feel your loving embrace, until then I’ll listen to my chimes, watch the cardinals and speak to you in prayer and I’ll see every signal you send. I Love you so much Mom. Love Cindy

Mary's heartfelt laughter and joyous spirit was a beacon of warmth in every life she touched. Her jovial soul echoes in cherished memories from camping escapades in Buena to unforgettable trips to Disney World. Her bright smiles and penchant for fun endeared her to many, particularly Marion. As a devoted mother, the boundless love she poured on her children will always be remembered fondly. Now peacefully resting, joining her siblings and parents, and especially Wes; our dear Dobby lives on in our hearts forever.

I was blessed to have known Mary growing up! I’ll always remeber her warm hug and infectious smile. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences Kathy to you and your entire family. Praying that God gives you comfort during this difficult time. Stand on the promises of God. And Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though He die yet shall He live”
