Obituary of Edward J. Bittle

Edward J. Bittle, age 54, died on July 7, 2023. Raised in Pitman, Ed graduated from Pitman High School in 1987. He worked in various construction jobs. He was friendly to everyone and made friends where ever he went. He referred to himself as "The Mayor", Ed was a diehard Redskins fan and loved being outside and staying busy. Most of all he loved being with his daughter who was the highlight of his life. He was predeceased by his father Harry (Pat) J. Bittle Jr. and brother Harry J. Bittle III. Survived by his daughter Chelsea C. Bittle, mother Jane Devine Bittle, sisters Denise Bittle, Patty (Dave) Ellen and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Friends may greet the family on Thursday after 9am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am.
